North Woods is a specialist timber design & build operation in the Highlands of
Scotland.
We offer a complete planning, design and construction service for houses, studios,
sheds, bridges, wildlife hides, indeed any structure built predominantly from timber.
We specialize in the use of home-grown timber but we also use other responsibly
sourced timber from Europe and Scandinavia. Some of what we use is harvested from
our own 30ha softwood plantation at our base near Ullapool in Wester Ross.
Our houses are featured widely in magazines and books and have been on three front
covers of the Times Homes Supplement.
North Woods prides itself in a high quality, personal service which it has provided to
private clients, community groups, architects and Local Authorities since 1998
